MRA Rabat, 11 November 2015. – The IMC Music Rights Award was once again given to a programme that supports in an exemplary way the Five Music Rights proclaimed by the International Music Council. The 2015 recipient of the 2015 Award are the SOCIAL PROJECTS of the Fayha Choir from Tripoli, Lebanon. The programme was nominated by the European Choral Federation – Europa Cantat, a long-time member of the IMC, and selected by a panel of specialists.

Our projects aim to rid children and youth from all kinds of deviation including dropping out of school, dealing/doing drugs, joining gangs, carrying arms, and so on. It is our firm belief that this can solely be done by the power of music, especially choir singing.

We are absolutely convinced that this could only be achieved throughout the power of music in general and the power of choir singing in particular. This power helps us promote many significant concepts such as learning to coexist with others and to harmonize, accepting and respecting others, promoting peace, and finally understanding the importance of ones heritage and culture. Recent studies have shown that choir singing plays an important role in the enhancement of the psychological wellness of singers, increases their self-esteem and self-confidence, trains them to become more disciplined, and increases their memory capacity. All these benefits of choir singing improve the general social skills of singers. The advantages of choir singing are numerous and their effects on children are extremely powerful on their general upbringing.

UNESCO Choir (2009-2013): It is a project between Fayha Choir and UNESCO regional office in Beirut. The members are students from public schools around Lebanon. The project aims to:

- Allow access to extra-curricular activities for marginalized children in public primary schools in selected locations in Lebanon

- Pilot the use of extracurricular activities in playing a role in the retention of at-risk and the reinsertion of out-of-school children in Lebanon.

More than 10,000 children were involved in the project.
Lebanese Palestinian Choir (2009 - 2011): After the war of Nahr El Bared Palestinian Camp in North Lebanon, UNDP with Fayha Choir implemented this project to improve the relation between the Palestinians (residents of the camp) and Lebanese youth (from villages surrounding the camp).
Safadi Choir (2014): A project with Safadi Foundation for children in one of the underprivileged areas in North Lebanon, where exists all kinds of social, political, security, economical problems...
Aghanina Choir (our Songs) (since 2014): With Qattan Foundation (Palestine). Members are Children and Youth: Palestinians from Beddawi Camp, and Lebanese from Tripoli including also Syrian refugees. The objective of this project is to promote and improve the Palestinian Musical Heritage.
The NRC Children Choir: Syrian refugees Children from the region of Akkar in North Lebanon. This project is in coordination with the Norwegian Refugee Council (since 2013).
The NRC Youth Choir: Syrian refugees youth from the region of Akkar in North Lebanon. This project is in coordination with the Norwegian Refugee Council (since 2015).
Sonbola Choir (Since 2014): In coordination with the Association Sonbula for Syrian Refugees in Lebanon fund by Nai Association in Austria. 150 refugee children from different camps in the region of Bekaa.
The Social Support Society Choir for Syrian refugees in the Bekaa region (since 2015).
The Tebbaneh Choir, with teenagers from the region of Tebbaneh, known for its social, economic and specially security problems with René Mouawad Foundation (since 2016).

They did not care about the neatness of their surroundings and they threw their leftovers randomly.	They always clean the place before and after the rehearsals and never leave any leftovers.
They always came late to rehearsals.	They give more respect for time and arrive earlier for the rehearsals.

MRA Rabat, le 11 Novembre 2015. - Le Prix IMC Music Rights Award a de nouveau été décerné à un programme qui soutient de manière exemplaire les cinq droits musicaux proclamés par le Conseil international de la musique. Les récipiendaires 2015 du Prix 2015 sont les PROJETS SOCIAUX du Fayha Choir de Tripoli, au Liban. Le programme a été proposé par la Fédération Chorale Européenne - Europa Cantat, membre depuis longtemps de l'IMC, et sélectionné par un panel de spécialistes.

A travers ses activités chorales sociales, le Chœur Fayha vise à éloigner les enfants et les jeunes de toutes sortes de déviations sociales qui compromettent leur vie, leur avenir ou leur développement : le décrochage scolaire, la production ou la vente de drogues, la tentation de joindre aux gangs, de tenir des armes, etc. dans un contexte où ces risques sont forts.

Notre ferme conviction est que celà peut être fait uniquement par le pouvoir de la musique, en particulier le chant choral. Ce pouvoir nous rend ambitieux dans la promotion de concepts tels que vivre ensemble, accepter et respecter l'autre, la promotion de la paix, et de saisir sur la culture et le patrimoine. Des études montrent que le chant choral joue un grand rôle dans l'amélioration de la santé psychologique des chanteurs. Non seulement celà, mais il améliore la confiance en soi, l'autodiscipline, et augmente la capacité de la mémoire. Il favorise également des meilleures compétences sociales. Les avantages de chanter dans une chorale sont nombreux, et leurs effets sur les enfants sont le plus puissant pour un meilleur bien-être général de la jeune génération.

La Chorale UNESCO (depuis 2009): C’est un projet entre la Chorale Fayha et le bureau régional de l'UNESCO à Beyrouth. Les membres sont des élèves des écoles publiques dans tout le Liban. Le projet vise à:

• Améliorer l'accès à des activités extra-scolaires pour les enfants marginalisés dans les écoles primaires publiques dans des endroits choisis au Liban

• Utiliser des activités parascolaires à jouer un rôle dans le maintien des enfants au risque et la réinsertion des enfants non scolarisés au Liban

Plus de 10.000 enfants ont été impliqués dans le projet.

La Chorale Libanaise Palestinienne (2009 - 2011): Après la guerre de Nahr El Bared (camp pour les réfugiés palestiniens au Liban-Nord), le UNDP avec la Chorale Fayha ont mis en œuvre ce projet pour améliorer la relation entre les Palestiniens (résidents du camp) et la jeunesse libanaise (des villages entourant le camp).
La chorale Safadi (depuis 2014): Un projet avec la Fondation Safadi pour les enfants dans l'une des pires régions du Nord du Liban, où existent toutes sortes de problèmes sociaux, politiques, de la sécurité, et des problèmes économiques ...
La Chorale Aghanina (nos chansons) (depuis 2014): Avec la Fondation Qattan (Palestine). Les membres sont les enfants et les jeunes: les Palestiniens du Camp Beddawi et Libanais de Tripoli, y compris également les réfugiés syriens. L'objectif de ce projet est de promouvoir et d'améliorer le patrimoine musical palestinien.
La Chorale NRC: enfants libanais et réfugiés syriens de la région d'Akkar au Liban Nord. Ce projet est en coordination avec le Conseil norvégien pour les réfugiés.
La chorale des jeunes du NRC: Jeunes réfugiés syriens de la région de Akkar au Liban Nord. Ce projet est en coordination avec le Conseil norvégien pour les réfugiés (depuis 2015).
La Chorale Sonbola(Depuis 2014): En coordination avec l'Association Sonbola pour les réfugiés syriens au Liban financé par l'Association Nai en Autriche. 150 enfants de réfugiés provenant de différents camps de la région de la Bekaa.
La Société du support social : une chorale pour les enfants et une autre pour les jeunes aussi dans l’une des régions les plus défavorisées au Liban, au Békaa, et aussi avec les réfugiés Syriens.
La Chorale de Tabbaneh, pour les adolescents de la région de Tabbaneh, connue pour ses problèmes sociaux, économiques et surtout la sécurité avec la fondation René Mouawad.

Voici un tableau qui montre le progrès et l’évolution des chanteurs durant les répétitions:

MRA الرباط ، 11 نوفمبر 2015. – جائزة المجلس الدولي للموسيقى للحقوق الموسيقية لبرنامج يدعم بطريقة نموذجية لهذه الحقوق الخمسة التي أعلنها المجلس. الحائز على جائزة عام 2015 هو المشاريع الاجتماعية لكورال الفيحاء من طرابلس، لبنان. تم ترشيح البرنامج من قبل الاتحاد الأوروبي للكورالات - Europa Cantat ، وهو عضو قديم في IMC ، وتم اختياره من قبل لجنة من المتخصصين.

تهدف مشاريعنا لتجنيب الأطفال والشباب من كافة أنواع الإنحراف بما في ذلك التسرّب المدرسي، والتعامل / تعاطي المخدرات، والانضمام إلى عصابات، حمل السلاح، وهلم جرا. ولدينا إيمان راسخ بأن هذا الهدف يمكن أن يتحقّق بقوة الموسيقى وخاصة الغناء الجماعي. هذه القوة تخلق لدينا طموح في تشجيع مفاهيم مثل العيش المشترك، وقبول واحترام الآخر، وتعزيز السلام، والتعمّق في الثقافة والتراث.

تشير الدراسات إلى أن الغناء الكورالي يلعب دوراً كبيراً في تحسين الصحة النفسية. ليس ذلك فحسب، لكنه يحسن الثقة بالنفس، والانضباط الذاتي، ويزيد من قدرة الذاكرة. كما يعزّز مهارات اجتماعية أفضل. فوائد الغناء في جوقة كثيرة، وآثارها على الأطفال هي الأقوى لتأمين حياة سليمة لأجيال المستقبل.

كورال اليونسكو (منذ عام 2009): إنه مشروع مشترك بين كورال الفيحاء ومكتب اليونسكو الإقليمي في بيروت. أعضاء الفريق هم طلاب من المدارس الرسميّة في جميع أنحاء لبنان. ويهدف المشروع إلى:

• تحسين الوصول إلى الأنشطة اللاصفية للأطفال المهمشين في المدارس الابتدائية الرسميّة في مواقع مختارة في لبنان

• استخدام الأنشطة اللامنهجية في لعب دور في الإبقاء على المعرّضين للخطر وإعادة الدمج للأطفال من خارج المدرسة

شارك في المشروع أكثر من 10000 طفل من عدة مناطق لبنانية.

الكورال اللبناني الفلسطيني (2009 - 2011): بعد حرب مخيم نهر البارد (مخيم للاجئين الفلسطينيين في شمال لبنان)، نفذ برنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي مع جوقة الفيحاء هذا المشروع بهدف تحسين العلاقة بين الفلسطينيين (سكان المخيم) والشباب اللبناني (من القرى المحيطة بالمخيم).
كورال مؤسّسة الصفدي (منذ 2014): بالتعاون مع مؤسسة الصفدي أسّس فريق عمل كورال الفيحاء مجموعة غنائية للأطفال في واحدة من أصعب المناطق في شمال لبنان، حيث توجد جميع أنواع المشاكل الاجتماعية والسياسية، والأمنية، ومشاكل اقتصادية ...
كورال أغانينا (منذ 2014): مع مؤسسة عبد المحسن القطان (فلسطين) وبالتعاون مع مؤسسة بيت أ"فال الصمود. الأعضاء هم من الأطفال والشباب: فلسطينيين من مخيم البداوي، ولبنانيين من طرابلس بما في ذلك أيضا اللاجئين السوريين. الهدف من هذا المشروع هو تعزيز وتحسين التراث الموسيقي الفلسطيني.

كورال المجلس النروجي للاجئين للشباب: شبان وشابات من المهجرين السوريين من منطقة عكار في شمال لبنان. هذا المشروع هو بالتنسيق مع المجلس النرويجي للاجئين.
كورال سنبلة للأطفال (منذ 2014): بالتنسيق مع جمعيةسنبلةلشؤون اللاجئين السوريين في لبنان بدعم من جمعية ناي في النمسا. 150 مغنّي من الأطفال اللاجئين السوريين من مخيّمات مختلفة في منطقة البقاع.
كورال جمعيّة الدعم الإجتماعي: (منذ 2015) للأطفال السوريين اللاجئين في منطقة البقاع.
كورال التبانة: للمراهقين من منطقة التبانة في طرابلس – لبنان، التي تعتبر بؤرة للعديد من المشاكل الإقتصاديّة والأمنيّة والإجتماعيّة، بالتعاون مع مؤسّسة رينيه معوّض.

فيما يلي جدول يوضح التقدم والتطور لدى المغنيين خلال التمارين:

حفظوا أغاني كثيرة من التراث الموسيقي العربي (السوري، اللبناني، الفلسطيني، العراقي، المصري...) والعالمي	لم يعرفوا أغاني من تراثهم الموسيقي
يتمرنون بانضباط لأكثر من ساعة كاملة	كانوا مفرطي النشاط وقليلين الصبر في التمارين الأولى
ينتظرون الإستراحات للعب والتحدّث سوياً	كانوا يتدافعون ويتقاتلون دوماً خلال الإستراحات
طباعهم هادئة ومسالمة بشكل لافت	كان لديهم تصرفات عنيفة وعدائية تجاه بعضهم وتجاه المدربين
يهتمون أكثر بنظافتهم ومظهرهم الخارجي	كان لديهم مشاكل كبيرة بالنظافة الشخصيّة
ينظّفون المكان قبل وبعد التمارين ولا يرمون الأوساخ على الأرض	لا يحترمون نظافة المكان خلال التمارين
يحترموت المواعيد ويصلون قبل وقت التمارين	كانوا يتأخرون دائماً على مواعيد التمارين
